Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)

All Employers seeking to hire Temporary Foreign Worker must conduct recruitment efforts to hire Canadians and permanent residents before offering a job to a temporary foreign worker. To help connect employers and job seekers Employment and Social Development Canada have introduced a new service called Job Match which comes into effect on August 28, 2017. Canadian employers are required to use Job match through Job bank Canada. This service will assist employers in matching job requirements to job seekers profiles.
